“A Born-Again Calligrapher”

(Short version: 6 min. 40 sec.)

A live talk presented at Pecha Kucha St. Augustine, FL, on March 1, 2024. In cities around the world, organizers gather speakers to tell their stories in a unique format: 20 slides, 20 seconds each. The aim: to inspire individuals and build a sense of community. Channeling a kind of revivalist spirit, presenters exude energy and enthusiasm around a chosen theme. In “Turn the Page,” Gina tells of a freelance calligrapher, obsessed with personal independence who, in creating a new approach to calligraphy (as a life-enhancing art for our time), transformed into a passionate advocate for her field!
